A Little about Myself...

Thank you for coming to Safe "N" Sound Pet Sitting. My name is Don Reynolds. I live in the Justin, Texas area, which makes it easy for me to sit in both the Justin, Haslet and Trophy Club areas. The reason I started Safe "N" Sound Pet Sitting is because I have loved pets ever since I was a little boy. I had my first dog when I was three. It was a big German Shepherd I named Rex. After all, I was only three. I have had pets in my family ever since. I have had dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, hamsters, ducks and a turtle.

I just love animals and animals just seem to love me. It does not take long for us to bond. My wife Jackie, says she has never seen any thing like it and refers to me as Doctor Doolittle. They all just adopt me as soon as they see me. We now have four dogs and two cats. One is a Corgi named Dixie. She will eat anything we put down in front of her. Two are Chihuahuas, Emeril and Oliver. Emeril we rescued from a home he had been getting kicked around in. Oliver, our long hair, we got as a puppy. He was so small when we got him, he would fit in one hand. Zuzu is our fourth dog and again she was saved. Jackie was driving down the road in Bowie and saw this little black and white Pug just hobbling down the road with no tags. She picked it up and took her to the local Animal Shelter and told them, if no one claimed her, call us. Considering this poor old lady had been kicked around enough to break one of her front legs and been over fed to the point of looking like a little football, we knew no one would claim her. They didn't and we adopted her. Now she is enjoying her old age in a caring and loving home in Justin, Texas. Nothing we could do about the leg, it was too old of an injury, but we got her weight down and give her diabetic insulin shots twice a day. She will let us know if we are late with the food!

The other members of the family are the two cats, Minerva and Tabitha.  Again both saved. Tabitha is the newest addition and still a kitten. Once again, just driving down the road near Ponder, Texas there was this little bundle sitting on the shoulder. IT MOVED, so we had to go back to see what it was. As soon as the door opened on the car, she came running over. Checked around for Mom or any other kittens, but none to be found, so we brought her home. If you find any typo's in this site, it's because she loves playing with the keyboard while I'm typing.

I can not think of a better way to spend my days and nights than taking care of animals. The answer to my dreams was a pet sitting business. I now service the Denton, Justin, Ponder, Krum, Haslet, and Trophy Club, Texas areas.
